No one likes pests, especially not your pets! Here are a few simple tips to help protect you and your fur babies from pests!

Be sure to cut your grass and clip trees and bushes in your yard regularly. Also, be sure to keep your yard  clear of any debris, inlcuding clippings.

Cleanups in your yard are essential for keeping pests away. Be sure to remove any leaf piles, twigs, and other plant materials, as these will attract pests because they are good hiding places for them!

Treat Your Yard

Make sure to treat your yard every so often, as pests may still find a way to invade your yard, and could then make it into your home.

Look into products that you can use yourself to treat your yard, and, if necessary, invest in professional services!

Treat Your Pet

Make sure to keep up with flea and tick treatment for your pets!

You can ask your local vet for recommendations on the best treatments to use for your pets.

Check Your Pet

Even though you may keep up with your pets’ treatments, it is important to still check them after walks and spending long periods of time outdoors. Despite treating your pets, pests may still find there way onto them!

Signs that your pet may have picked somethhing up can include them scratching and biting themselves, as well as overall abnormal behavior.

Keep An Eye Out!

No matter how prepared you are, pests can STILL find a way into your home. Pests can latch onto your pets’ fur!

To keep your family safe, be sure to always keep an eye out! Placing glue boards near your pets’ sleeping areas can help catch pests that have made there way inside by latching on, just be sure to keep them out of reach of your pets!
